Someone get Ice-T on the phone!

Did everyone hear that the Republican Congress is pushing to make armor-piercing "Cop-Killer" bullets legal again? Tom Delay says "The homes of [Washington D.C] will be safer when its law-abiding citizens are on an equal footing with its violent criminals."

That rules. I'm so sick of getting mugged by guys in suits of armor. And not only can I protect my home, but I can also protect my neighbors' homes, since these bullets go through goddamn walls.

Also, now we can get a refund on all the Kevlar vests we've bought for the police over the years. We can just give them nice corduroy vests from Old Navy; they're cheaper, sharper, and equally effective against armor-piercing bullets.
