RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS, FRIDAY JUNE 20 AT SIN-E
I know you don't believe me. You never listen. I'm not just telling you this to hear myself talk. The Gamblers are so fucking ridiculously rock-tastic that you really will not forgive yourself if you don't come out to Sin-e on Friday night to be rocked.

CORN MO/POLYPHONIC MINI-TOUR
Last week, I drove up to Boston to film Corn Mo opening for The Polyphonic Spree. I had such a great time that I took some time off work and went on the rest of the mini-tour. It was great to see Corn Mo rock the asses off of all new people, and I can't say enough about how great it was to see Polyphonic live. They're really amazing--so much energy, and a very positive vibe.

I just used the word "vibe." Sorry.

Converting to Polyphonic Spree-ism is not unlike any other cult, I would imagine. I saw one show and decided right then and there: whatever they're selling, I'm buying (metaphorically, speaking). I can't stress how imperative it is for you to see them live. If nothing else, it's unforgettable. They'll be playing summerstage in Central Park this August, as will Sparks! Check them out, NYC-ers.

CHRIS ROZZI'S OUTRE ISLAND EVITE
I was e-Vited to Chris Rozzi's one-man show, and I'm so THERE! You may know Chris as one half of the Randy Brothers. You may not know him at all. You should. Here are the details:

After several months of careful preparation and much emotional throttling, a small box will be delivered to the Bowery Poetry Club on June 21, 2003 and out will spring...Outre Island! Christopher Rozzi's one-man comedy about a group of desperate individuals is back for a one-nighter in NYC's East Village! Show time is 10:30pm. To miss it would be dumb!

WHEN IS THE NEXT MIDNIGHT PAJAMA JAM?
MPJ, I miss you.
