Other Uses for Hemp
by Rick Larsen

Studies have shown that Hemp can be useful in several industries (cloth, paper, plastics). Another plus: hemp production has fostered an increased interest of America’s teenagers in agriculture and botany. Here are some other uses.

Floral arrangements

Fields can be arranged to spell words visible from space

Can be seen as a kindly old father figure

Is a useful rhyme for "Shemp" and (sort of) "blimp".

Neckties

Can be stored in small decorative jars; when someone asks you what is in the jar, you answer “Hemp”. They will say “Oh, cool.”

Seeds can be saved in an appropriate environment, allowing for more hemp to be grown.

Displays aphrodisiac powers when pressed into shiny black disc onto which funky, funky music is recorded.
