my birthday kicks ass

MY BIRTHDAY IS STILL GOING TO KICK ASS!
R+B/Glam Rockers Double Dong and Wyld Lixx reunite for my birthday--and ladies, it'll be HOTT! It's an event not to be missed. Joining them will be rock-legend-in-the-making, Corn Mo, and the gayest, metalest, German gay metal band, Pink Steel!

And that's just PART ONE of this year's two-night kittenpants birthday event. PART TWO features more performances from Double Dong and Corn Mo, as well as Wyld Lixx's Fur Coat, the Dutch Treats, and some very special surprise guests. It's wet, hot action like you've never seen before.

Saturday, April 26, at LUXX in Williamsburg.
Sunday, April 27, at PIANOS in Manhattan.

Rememeber when you thought, "Chocolate and peanut butter...together? What will they think of next?"
Now it's here--a light in the darkness for all you lost souls who enjoy both live entertainment, and watching TV.

Modern Humorist and UnCabaret present THE OTHER NETWORK: A Festival of the Best Un-Aired TV Shows Ever Made. It's a festival of rejects, featuring the funniest television you've never seen. Shows include the infamous "Lookwell" (starring Adam West as a former TV crime fighter, trying to become an actual crime figter) and the Ben Stiller-produced pilot "Heat Vision and Jack" (starring Jack Black as an astronaut with super powers and Owen Wilson as the voice of his motorcycle).

I'm not making this shit up, people.

In NYC, check it out at The Knitting Factory on April 5, 6, 7. Elsewhere, visit the website for tour dates.

Contramano at Meow Mix
Yeah, okay, I wasn't there. Totally not my fault. Okay, totally my fault, but I'll be at the next one. Keep an eye out on former Grown-Up Dave Wallin's new band, here: www.contramano.net.

Cafe Right Bank closes it's doors
Finally. Not that this little out-of-the-way hipster-haven wasn't fun, but we've been hearing about it's demise for so long... The Psychos! and Corn Mo were there for a final farewell, joined by Mz. Pakman, and an unforgettable, Peelander Z!

What with this awesome WAR going on now, I can't help but wonder, "What would Bill Hicks say?"

I miss him more than ever now, but sadly, his material regarding Bush, SR., is eerily just as applicable today...
