Rejected Sequels to
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE

4. With the whole town behind him, George turns the people against Mr. Potter. The people tell Potter that the only way he can redeem himself and not get run out of town is to coach Bedford Falls’s winless youth soccer team. Begrudgingly, Potter attempts to shape the ragtag group of kids into a soccer powerhouse.

At first the kids and Potter are like oil and water, but once they realize that deep down they aren't much different, things start to come together and the team wins the championship game. Along the way, the kids learn about teamwork and old Mr. Potter learns a thing or two about humanity.

5. Just as George is getting used to being happy again, a report comes over the radio that an evil race of lizard people have come from outer space and are taking over Bedford Falls.

Never one to let his hometown get taken over by a group of space-lizards, George attempts to fight them off with Zuzu's petals. Unfortunately, George's efforts are no match for the lizards.

All seems hopeless until Uncle Billy suggests dressing in drag. They agree that the plan is so crazy it just might work. It does.
