Dear Diary,
I mailed you a response to my previous entry about the dollar movie theater closing down. I enjoyed the cathedral-like air conditioning and the smell of coke syrup in the dark. My room should have no windows but it does. Two. And I can't watch "Singles" properly with the curtains drawn as such. I can listen to the new Ritchie Blackmore with a warm, wet, washrag across my eyes. Perfect.

Dear Diary,
I pulled a muscle yesterday while lifting my box of poems and pictures. I think I'll go lay down (lie down?). I baked a pecan pie this morning and watched Martha Stewart on the kitchen tv. She's wonderful and weird. My pie is sitting out and I'm thinking what to do next. Maybe I'll make...no I'm going to go to Spencer's this afternoon and get some glow stars for my room. And then, I'll watch GUMMO in the light.

I ate half a pecan pie. Sorry called me a few minutes ago. Who names their kid "Sorry"?

Dear Diary,
My banana wine is going bad. I thought it would be easy to make: bananas, yeast and apple juice. But it's got mold and not good mold cause it just looks bad. Sometimes I feel like I should do stuff better like board up my windows with construction paper and line my floor with ocean water. Sorry said banana wine sounds good.
