If you weren't at the launch party for "Debutante Dinner" then you missed the event of the year! Four bands, one new sextacular rock magazine, and an insane mixture of hipsters, freaks, and skeezer rockers. I spoke to Mag moguls Judah and Kimberly Detzer about the evening's success:

kp: So how did it go, overall?
j/k: The entire night was amazing--a rock n' roll enema we still haven't recovered from.

kp: A success?
j/k: It was a total suckcess! The magazine seemed to be recieved very well. Many people came up to us after the show and said how happy they were to see local bands treated this way, some even said it filled a void. We're all about filling voids!

kp: How were the bands?
j/k: By the end of Daddy's set, there was a mosh pit. Now they're not the heaviest band, but the energy level was so high that people just went nuts.

I think I saw friends crying during the Psychos! set. It was too much, first for people to see them naked in our centerfold, and then to actually watch them onstage. Imagine if Jesus and Judas came back and did a nude interview. I think you understand.
