MISSION GIANT: I SCREAM SOCIAL is a happy surprise. It's like getting the perfect amount of fries with your cheeseburger - not too many, just enough.

It's like if you went over to a Robot's house on a weekday, say mid-afternoon, and maybe the Robot was a little stoned, and working on some sort of project, like rearranging LPs or wrapping Xmas presents--then this would be the CD the Robot was listening to.

LITTLE GRIZZLY: I'D BE LYING IF I SAID I WASN'T SCARED is an album I'd really like to hear.  The people who have heard it are all saying good things.  Perhaps once I hear it I can say more. Until then, see Little Grizzly on one of their many upcoming show dates.

Kitten-favorites centro-matic were featured in last month's UNCUT magazine. No, it's not a publication for the uncircumcised, it's a British music mag. According to Amanda Pounds it's "the magazine ROLLING STONE wishes they were". Check out the compilation CD that comes with the issue--features centro-matic and other slightly-less-cute Texans.

You must go see the Buckaroo Bindlestiff Wild West Gender Bender Jamboree, if you are in the NYC area and if you know what's good for you. The final performance at the Present Company Theatorium, was one of the greatest times ever.

Highlights are: the fabulous aerialist action of Una, the hilarious antics of Magic Brian (be prepared to buy the jerky), the insanely awesome lasso stunts of Angelo "Cowboy from the Bronx" Iodice, and of course, the band, featuring the rock-tastic Corn Mo, who is so good, he can even make you not hate "Freebird".

Catch the second run of the Jamboree at the Mazer Theater in Manhattan. Also, see Corn Mo (once again!) on MTV's Total Request Live this Wednesday!
