I missed you, too.  But Kittenpants is back from a short hiatus, chock-full of fun times for you. Just browse the next few pages of articles and you'll see...

The winner of this month's naming contest is John Freeman (once again). The next two issues have already been named by people who aren't John Freeman, which will be a nice change. But how could I resist "Kick Ass Pirate Stories?" It was either that, or "Sweet Eighth Graders in Heat..."

Anyway, this issue's LOGO relates to the prize John won. It was a very rare, out-of-print copy of the novelization of the made-for-TV movie, COTTON CANDY!  Written by Ron and Clint Howard, and starring Clint and cousin, Charles Martin-Smith, if you ever see it anywhere on VHS, you should move mountains to obtain it. It's hard to find.  If you want, you can call me and I'll do a "dramatic reading" of the story over the phone for you... "The baboon is key!"
