Driving with "Travolta"
by kittenpants

I've been a fan of John Travolta's for a long time. I thought it would be great if I could get an interview. But, I'm no Liz Smith! I didn't really know how to contact "his people" so I did the next best thing. I interviewed a collection of his most famous lines from the movies.

I picked "John's Characters" up at his hotel in New York and as we drove around in my car, I spoke to

Vinnie ("WELCOME BACK, KOTTER")
Tony (SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER)
Danny (GREASE)
Adam (PERFECT)
James (LOOK WHO'S TALKING)
Vincent (PULP FICTION)
Chili (GET SHORTY)
Paul (THE GENERAL'S DAUGHTER)
Joey (SHE'S SO LOVELY)
Jack (PRIMARY COLORS)
Michael (MICHAEL)
George (PHENOMENON)
and (Vic) Deakins (BROKEN ARROW).

kp: Wow. I can't believe I'm interviewing you. I'm so nervous! Can you tell?
Deakins:
You're bleeding. That's good! Let's see if we can get any more out of you!

kp: What?
Deakins:
Everything is going smoothly, I assure you.

kp: Whew! Good. I heard you could be pretty tough on reporters. Do you have any advice before we begin?
Adam:
Always treat a famous person as if they're not. And a person who's not as if they were.

kp: Awesome! So you and me--we're just hanging out, like friends.
Vincent:
I ain't your friend, Palooka.
