Bored, I yell out "Howard Jones!!! Things can only get better!!!" (and I meant it!) and Howard Jones starts playing "Things Can Only Get Better" (YEAH!!). He also tries to get some crowd participation going--during the "Whoa whoa whooooa whoa whoa whooooooa" part - he holds the mic out to the crowd, and you can hear crickets chirping. He keeps trying to pump up the crowd, who are just sitting on their lame asses, digesting their buffet dinners--meanwhile, me, John, and one other dude across the room are standing and faithfully shouting "Whoa whoa whoooa whoa whoa whooooooa." After about 20 minutes of this (literally) he finally gives up and finishes the song. But Ringo's not satisfied, so he makes some remark along the lines of "we're not going anywhere until you do that right" and finally, the audience starts "Whooa-ing" accordingly.

Finally, I see Sheila E setting up some drums in the front of the stage and I can smell the "Glamorous Life." She plays it - she's amazing, she's tossing drumsticks in the air, she's catching most of them - everything is right with the world again. And we run away from there as soon as it's over. We gambled $6 in quarters and then left the casino exhausted, but satisfied.

All in all, I'd recommend it if you have a few bucks to waste, and aren't at all concerned with attempting to appear cool in any way. If so, just tell people you saw the Torture Exhibit.
