THE BOY IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE: THE SITCOM

Imagine a sitcom with a Bewitched-style animated opening. Cartoon bubble boy, Todd, floats around in his bubble as the opening credits introduce the rest of the cast. He's feisty, for a bubble boy, and has a perpetual wink in his eye. As the credits come to a close, his girlfriend pops the bubble with a giant pin. He slaps his face, a la HOME ALONE, and turns blue. Laugh track on high, fade to opening scene.

Scene 1: Todd and his Mom at the breakfast table.
Todd: I don't WANT to go to a new school. Everyone is going to make fun of me.
Mom: I think if you give them a chance, people might surprise you Todd.
Todd: Oh MOM!

Scene 2: Todd enters the school in his customized bubble suit. He is almost run over by a girl in a motorized wheelchair.
Girl: Watch it!
Todd: Sor-ry!
Rocky Dennis: Hey, man - don't worry about it. She's a slut.
Todd: Why are you wearing a mask? Is it Halloween? (laughs)
Rocky: It's not a MASK. It's my face. And your mother didn't seem to mind it last night.
Todd: FUCK YOU!
Rocky: You can't say FUCK YOU on television. What are you stupid or something?
Forrest: My mama always says, "Stupid is as stupid does."
Todd and Rocky: You're dead meat, shitmouth!!
Jenny: Run, Forrest, Run!

Scene 3: Todd's mom drives up outside the school to find Todd and Rocky kicking the shit out of Forrest.
Mom: See honey, I knew you would fit in fine.
Todd: Oh, MOM!

Yay!
