INTERVIEW: Mark Hedman
by kittenpants

I'd just like to say that the off-hand Christopher Atkins reference made me the happiest kitten in town. If only Mark had made reference to Atkins' appearance in 'Night in Heaven' (with Lesley Anne Warren) rather than the Blue Lagoon, I might have died of joy. As it was, I merely sighed with joy. Here's his interview:

kp: How hot is your lady?
Mark:
Tawny Kitaen hot. Thanks for askin'.

kp: Is she going to be on a Centromatic album cover?
Mark:
She has been on all the album covers up to this point, so I don't see a reason to stop now. It's one of those Magic Eye dealies. You can see her boobies if you stare long enough.

kp: How much can you bench?
Mark:
I'll bench the whole frickin' team if they don't perform.

kp: Do you consider Dr. Atkins "full of shit"?
Mark:
So Christopher Atkins finally received his doctorate? I can't believe the committee succumbed to his incessant pestering. To be honest, I found his monograph entitled "Contra Epiphenomena: The Blue Lagoon Vis a Vis the Asatkaryavadan School of Causality" to be both tiresome and fundamentally flawed.

kp: I'm glad this was an email interview. I never would have been able to spell what you just said. Do you believe in eating hot dogs with ketchup?
Mark:
I like my ketchup straight up.

kp: Do you have any tighter shirts?
Mark:
All of my shirts have been getting tighter recently.

kp: Which member of centro-matic do you like to beat up on the most?
Mark:
I must confess that my inner monologues have grown increasingly antagonistic.

kp: Which presidential candidate would you like to beat up first; George W. Bush, Al Gore, Ralph Nader or Jello Biafra? Please feel free to enter a write-in candidate.
Mark:
George W. Bush makes me sad.

kp: When you start making action movies, will they be in the style of Van Damme, Schwartzenegger, Stallone, Segal, Willis, Lee, Chan, or CHUCK NORRIS?
Mark:
No.

kp: Do you still enjoy 'pepper and lye' potato chips?
Mark:
George? Is that you? I'm glad to see we're both still supporters of the mandatory dualism policy. One day salt and vinegar will meet it's nemesis. One day.
